Altice USA forms a $25 million partnership with “The Shed”

Altice has confirmed that it has entered in a long-term partnership with the Manhattan arts center to be the exclusive connectivity provider.

As part of the $25 million multi-year agreement, Altice USA will supply the new nonprofit organization with a state-of-the-art fiber network and provide WiFi access to audiences, artists and staff. The Shed is expected to open in the spring of 2019.

Anytime "Arts" or "Institute" is involved with a physical building in the smartphone era I figure layoffs can't be far behind. It's not a notion that's gone astray yet.
