NXP has huge customer base and large distribution org with marketing/sales experience in commodity parts. Thats exactly what Q lacks as it comes from a monopolistic background. All the synergies that Molly and crew saw are still there. But this way the Trumpest cannot stop it; Xi says he'll ok it and NXP execs get to boot Qs execs and the redundant dead wood.
NXP knows how to do this; shut SD, run it out of Colorado (better skiing there for NXP guys). It'll take several years but you know it sorta makes sense.
