Enbridge Inc. said it has mobilized equipment to begin removing a section of 22-inch diameter natural gas pipeline that exploded over the weekend in Smith County, TN.
Definitely not a good year for natural gas pipelines under Enbridge. I wonder what corners were cut or how many leaders did not listen. Stating on its website that no incident is "acceptable" you've got to wonder how many more incidents will be forthcoming and what safety work they have delayed in the name of cost reduction.
Well, I know in the SCADA space the OT IT director is publicly saying employees should pay for their own training. Thats getting a good response.

The assumption is that Enbridge cut corners. The truth is that it did cut corners to reduce costs. Refute that if you can.
Another POS Spectra gas pipeline. WTF did those folks do all day. If the crude lines failed this much Enbridge would be gone. But as Enbridge has now owned these gas lines for 2 years, we need to wonder when will the “world class integrity” will start.
Which of the assumptions requires an integrity expert to debunk.
