I think the biggest positives about Culp are:
1) He has a successful track record with Danaher,
2) He is NOT a product of GE / Crotonville.
Quite frankly that's all we really know about him.
He may be just another arrogant, greedy hack like Welch and Immelt but that remains to be seen.
Cleaning house??? WTF are you talking about? When you clean house do you bring trash back in that was already taken out???
He did confirm/call back some senior leaders from the previous era though...
Maybe that was the only way to fix things, but the doubt the caste of the selected few wants ultimately to protect itself, well, that remains
At least he has started by cleaning house some. Just wish he would go faster.
