The store looks pretty unsettling in the spot and the forced "outtakes" are cringey. The actors and crew did their best tho.
You have to go by aggregate numbers to compare. It's pretty clear that Sears/Innovel and related companies are worst in class, and have been for more than a decade. Eddie's been trading on Sears' once stellar rep since he acquired the company. He's like the guy who always screws you over in the prisoner's dilemma.
They're all pretty frustrating at times. I've run into problems with both systematic bad procedures and individual employee incompetence/uncaringness at Sears, Lowe's, Home Depot, Harbor Freight, and Walmart. Some orders/visits go fine, but there are periodic clusterf#^$ experiences.
The online reviews in my area would disagree.
Lowes s---s balls, they are worse than sears!! Half your orders get cancelled, they discontinued their coupons and pickup for online? Sh*t they could LEARN from sears!!!

I’m in Michigan and I saw the ad last night on HGTV, I like how he says “the REAL home of craftsman” boom, mic drop ... f*ck lowes
That ad just plays into the theory that Eddie is deliberately trying to ruin the company
OK, The Truth....those commercials are horrible. And the mustache buy is a bit creepy. I would avoid Sears if I might run into that guy.
And the out takes are even worse.
I saw some too when I was watching a Christmas movie on hallmark. I was so shocked I did a doubletake!!

The "bonuses" should be used for ads, not paying off "top" management. Are they even trying?
