Thread regarding Juniper Networks Inc. layoffs

What about cloud services platform team

No revenue fro RD and their suboridnates. Contrail took over this for nothing.

Waste of investiment from Juniper on CSP and SDWAN. No major impact and waste project.

@WChQNMd-4ost could not agree more with you. Perfect analysis. This is yet another evidence if one was needed that we struggle to get to the right point in the price to performance axes in hardware. Junos of course was never meant to be enterprise grade, so that's another elephant that cannot dance.

NFX revenue is low. To be fair to the developers and PMs, it was poorly marketed by an id--t who couldn't tell you his head from his black a-- on a good day.

The potential for NFX is much greater than where its positioned and sold today. When you see the SDN success of Cisco/Viptela and VMware/Velocloud, you have to ask why juniper's nfx solution couldn't live up to it's expectations. The way it was positioned to the industry was all wrong. Initial messaging was based on poorly conceived marketing ideas, and not based on the projections by product management. In Europe it is considered a joke... overpriced, under-powered and way over complicated. I think we got carried away with vMX, and vSRX and lost our footing on this one.

What is the revenue from NFX series? Why Juniper investing there for years?

For other groups, they always talk about revenue and why not for contrail and CSP?

Isn't this team responsible for the NFX Series?
