Thread regarding CA Technologies (CA Inc.) layoffs

CA services transition to HCL is similar to Verzion outsourcing to Infosys

If employee not accepting the HCL offer, Broadcom said that you are quitting yourself, thus no severance pay and transition bonus.

Verizon did that way, then correct itself after WSJ published an article to expose such an unethical behavior to US public..

Broadcom is still doing the same, and let's hope WSJ can publish another article to continue exposing those unethical behaviors.

Broadcom is just doing its slave trade to keep its business as usual before it can find a way to sell the ES division piece by piece.

It never ceases to amaze me that people can be how much***. Broadcom is doing its job by offering you any employment with another employer, now if you do not want to take that offer what Broadcom is supposed to do give you another job offer, beg to you??

don’t kid yourself please, if you don’t want to join another company then that’s your choice and that’s call resigning from your position. And for that you want broadcom to pay for your decisions?

How little self awareness you must have....

and don't kid yourself. It wasn't a WSJ article that got Vz to change it's mind. It was the threat of employee lawsuits because of the incredibly stupid timing of the outsourcing deal along with a voluntary separation offer to everyone else.

Don't kid yourself.

Even now Verizon over 150k employees with annual revenue of 126 billion dollars. CA is not even a blip on the radar. WSJ does not care. Congress does not care.

Broadcom lawyers will tell the mgmt how to do things legally. But nobody tells them how to behave ethically. It is time to let public/your congressman to know the story.
