Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Question on Management Layers

Why do you need a bloated monstrosity with 15 layers of redundant management and multiple overlays doing the same job to sell commodity stuff?

Q cannot adjust itself to the reality of post-modem-monopoly. Very high cost basis in SD and all these failed science experiments bode for terminal collapse. Look at the prison like campus buildings with all those teslas charging outside you know there an imbalance. Low margin commodities parts dont pay for those aisles of high end cars.

Apple isn't too well liked right now, either. Personally, I think they are over-hiring, growing too fast. I can foresee layoffs there next, probably sometime around 2023.

The multi-layers of directors and program managers are wildly redundant. Its decades of accumulation of tumble weeds and dead wood. The huge royalties/licensing $$$ have propped up this excess for over 10 years now.

The modem monopoly is dying - on its last gasp and Apple is driving the impending collapse of its most hated former supplier. Q is widely loathed in the industry and its now looking around for friends; none to be found.
