Yes, and then AWS announced it plans to offer racks of servers and storage. Highly unlikely they will not also offer a TOR switch
The Information started a similar rumor about Amazon and Cisco in July. Amazon did not comment but Cisco Systems did say that it was not true. "The Information" is not a reputable or a reliable source in my opinion.
