Thread regarding ADP layoffs

ADP should not be your Hero

Why put ADP in a 'rescue me' position? Pull up your bootstraps and rescue yourself. ADP is a company in business to make money. Sometimes it requires disappointing employees--on all levels of employment.

No one-no matter how wonderful you believe you may be-is safe when the 'let go' gauntlet comes down. Live like your ADP tomorrow is not promised. It is not, for anyone.

Yes, I am being paid by certain company to try to protect this company's image and reputation. Oh wait, I shouldn't have said that!

Lol these post will have you thinking there are checks being deposited for opinions and insults. My side hurts from the laughs. Thank you for the nonsense you give the world in the guise of suggestion, better known as keyboard courage.

That is not interpretation. That is fact. Anyone can see that no one has ever said on this site that ADP will collapse if they are terminated because they themselves are too valuable for the company to lose. You are just making a fool of yourself by this assertion as anyone here can check out all the posts.

I suggest that you relax, chill out, and partake in some pleasant activity to soothe your nerves, rather than making false, unsubstantiated assertions.

@WAqTzie-uen - What? Is that your interpretation? That there was reference to someone believing they were too important to go? No, dear. You read too much into the post. Maybe paranoia, unnecessary analysis of the post or defense mechanism? No need. No one believes they are greater than you.

There are no posts on this website from any people who claim that they are too important to be laid off or that ADP will collapse if that individual is gone. I invite you to show me a post where that claim is made.

The translation from the OP:

Anyone who can get 'hit by a bus/drop dead' can get 'hit by the gauntlet'. No exceptions. No one is exempt. The postings on specific target statuses, positions, work location, are mere smoke and mirrors. If not an OFFICIAL ONE ADP CENTER, YOU can 'GET IT-the Gauntlet', too. Heed your own warning. Be your own HERO/SHERO or ?RO.

I don’t think I’m living in a fantasy world. I’ve seen posts in this site where people have actually stated they think their job is too important or no one from their department will ever get laid off because they are too inportant. If you think these people never said this or beleive there are people out there who really feel this way then you my friend are the one who is living in a fantasy world.

To the last person replying to the OP:

I think you missed the OP's point, the point being is that ADP is a disreputable company that no person should count on "to rescue" them or even to hold your nose and work for. I think that you are living in a fantasy world if you think that anyone believes that a company could not survive without them. No one commenting on this site has ever said that ADP will not survive without them alone. We are all replaceable, from the lowliest associate to the CEO Carlos Rodriguez himself. Now when enough people are gotten rid of and the company's knowledge base starts to erode, that is quite another matter...

Amen to the previous poster! I’m so sick and tired of some people who think they walk on water and ADP could not survive without them. We are all replaceable. Like the old saying goes if you got hit by a bus tomorrow ADP will still survive and the next day there will be someone else in your chair doing your exact job. No one is safe. Wake up people!
