Thank you so much. And you're right that there are TR people who care. The best thing about my time here has always been the people I work with. I won the lottery when it came to the team I was a member of and the people I worked with in my job every day. I wouldn't change that part of it for anything.
I am sorry you are leaving. I hope you get a better job...there are TR people who care.
Next week is my last with TR after many years. I'm one of those colleagues and friends she said it's so difficult to see leave, but I doubt Charlotte Rushton or any of the rest of the ELT care an iota about those of us leaving. Truthfully, they've done such a horrible job on this reorg and jerked us around so long that I'm honestly just grateful I'm getting out. I will miss my friends and the colleagues who are staying, but I won't miss the company TR has become at all.
I attended this meeting and thought she came off as completely tone deaf. She apologized for the lack of information we've received (you think?) Then said it's difficult to see your colleagues & friends lose their jobs (you think?) but we HAVE to simplify/ reduce layers. We're going to do this while providing the same great customer service (umm that's not happening in my group). And we're SO excited about the reorg and 2019 (forget about those colleagues we shed and keep doing your job and their jobs).
So nice of Masterson to follow up the pink slip with a group email telling me what a great job I've done.
One has to wonder how they're going to be able to produce all these products and achieve unheard-of levels of synergy when key employees are being shown the door and the outside consulting contractors are basically clueless.
Sales org for tax professionals will be rolled out next week.
