All on ground staff at core Ais... ALL.... will be replaced with staff from Studio, an outside management company...

Not to be argumentative @W9ePp15-jufm but if this mythical Studio does take over management, more than likely the executives of DCEH will just hand over employees files and walk away, AU and Ai administrators as well as all other employees will be at Studio’s mercy. Studio will change all positions slightly (like EDMC did November 2016 at AiO) and ask all employees to apply for the new positions along with all those who have been laid off to date.
Employers are only loyal to employees as long as they need them.
Just a quick reminder, the folks we are bad mouthing are the same folks who are going to be telling Studio who is and is not worth keeping, And who and who is not committed to our students, faculty and staff. Just wanted to point that out and, you can be sure the Studio folks are reading these boards, they didn't get to where they are by making bad decisions.

When you say "high ranking" - how high are we talking? They've already let go of Presidents, Deans, Senior Directors - who else is there?? And 12/21? That makes me nauseous. Just awful.
5zgt that's their secret code for letting everyone know there will be more layoffs - then studio hires them back at a lower salary -
4ktl- Maybe I’m missing your brilliant logic, but wouldn’t the ai staff and faculty already be hired by DCEH? Why would they need a middleman group to rehire them?

WOW, Let's just incite a riot while we are at it. The Studio team wants to hire all the Ai staff and faculty to help rebuilding and growing the company. Why do people insist on finding the worst with everything - especially around the holidays!
I'm staff and it looks like I put in my two weeks notice just in time. I even took a pay cut, but gain all of the benefits, including a real retirement plan, from working at a respected university.

Is it Studio Enterprise? They own Studio School, headquartered in Philadelphia but located in LA. They have some similar programs and would be the most likely to take on some others. I could see them being the most likely to take on the remaining locations.
No students = no school no matter who takes over
You probably can't find Studio Management because Brett and his cronies haven't built the website yet - you know this is just another b---s--- organization owned by the a--holes at DCEH. Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll have the cell next to their buddy Trump and DeVos.
