History is changing my friend, back then oil was needed to power a lot of things including cars but if you have been following the news you will see that GM is laying off the a lot of mechanical engineers who worked on gas powered engines and exhaust systems and are looking to hire electrical and computer engineers so they can continue to design electric powered cars that are self driving. And the entire country is now leaning towards CLEAN energy, windmills and solar. Fossil fuels have taken a hit that it is not going to fully recover from. Fossil fuels won't disappear but the demand is going to slowly diminish over the next few years. People never thought the US Postal service would ever be in trouble but everything eventually changes.
