Thread regarding CDK Global Inc. layoffs

CDK Global broke our spirits

Does anybody else on this board get the feeling that we are being overworked to a degree that borders with inhumanity? People are leaving the company left and right, as they realize that the pay at CDK Global has become a joke and as the benefits have been lowered to a level that is insulting to the employees. But the management couldn't care less about the attrition, as they want to reach their numbers, and we get dumped with the amount of work fit for 2 or 3 workers.

What’s even more concerning is that this is becoming a trend, without any signs of stopping and without any signs of anyone from the management doing anything about it. It has become unbearable to a point that the worker’s spirit is completely broken and, in fact, the only reason why I’m still here is that I don't have long to get my pension.

As soon as the old CEO came back after it was sold to Brookfield I knew we were in for a mass layoff. That’s all that guy knows how to do.
There is zero reward for being loyal to CDK as they just don’t care.

You have choices. You could look for another job.

Here in Norwood we’d be happy to unionize.. Has anyone thought about contacting the Communications Workers of America? They might be interested in us

If ever there was a place to justify unionization it is this one.

So why wouldn't it be a good time to unionize and negotiate a better situation?
