Are we looking at even more store closing announcements this week?
Somebody mentioned that they plan to trim everything non-essential before holidays and that officially starts next week.
I also don't see them announcing more closings on the Thanksgiving week, talk about heartless move.
Which is why this week looks like a "winner" in that department.
@1syr And if you believed your DM I have some lakefront property you can buy in the middle of the Sahara desert. Our Sears DM told us in May that we were in great shape then he came in on a Thursday morning before the store opened in June and told us we were closing. We officially closed in September. Great guy.
District managers visit stores a week right before they are announced to be closed, what store are you at.
Are u talking Kmart or sears cause the district manager was in our store last week said we have a good 5 years at our sears store!!!

And we will not “sleigh” the holidays
could happen toward the end of the week 11/15 Judge Drain "THE SWAMP" will rule on closing the remaining designated stores which most likely will go through.
