Who's taking their place online? probably ditching the position since no announcement was made at the same time for a replacement.

That is quite a promition track. Within about a month, from AIO Dean to AIP Dean to AIP Provost! Such a shining star!

Will this follow "open" campuses, will there be a dean or campus director, chairs or just leads, full time faculty or adjuncts only, will there still be a VP of online operations, dean of student affairs? So many questions and does Middle State know 1. AiP dean was released and AiO dean became dean of AiP & AiO, and of the new post as provost? So many unanswered questions to ponder while we wait for MSCHE evaluation and ruling on accreditation.

I can't see why a provost would need a phd. I mean Atlanta's president doesn't appear to even have a bachelors degree. It's a corporation. These are sales jobs--not education.
Well -- it is a corporation not a normal university - so rules change - no phd needed.

A Provost???? That title is funny. It is little kids playing dress up like grownups. Maybe we can pass out titles to everyone. We need a Chancellor and a Vice Provost too,

A PhD at AIP? The recently fired President did not have a PhD. And numerous faculty have BA from AIP and start as faculty the quarter following graduation.
I thought a provost needed a PhD? How is she qualified other than sales?
