So let’s see all OT is dead !!! Oh wait FTTH is unlimited OT !!!! So U work OT to make your PDO numbers , Fiber techs getting OT and have nothing to do with actually doing anything With FTTH ???? We are understaffed but yet they send guys to FTTH ??? Then they get unlimited OT .. something is way outta whack ....

management crash course at altice is tell the cr@ppy techs that are left that they are best. it will build self esteem plus we don't have to pay them as much. compliment compliment compliment.hahahah
No one cares about quality anymore. The team captain where I work doesn’t know his left arm from his right. His cable knowledge is pretty horrible he hasn’t a clue how things work. He cannot install sip or static ip without calling into dispatch. Pretty pathetic who they are promoting for what cause all the quality has left.

I’m sorry, a whole phase of what? Are you moonlighting for the power company, or trying to make your job sound more impressive than it really is? I think the fiber mystery is over, when service guys are now the premier splicers for the company, it really does prove any one can do it.

Maybe, just maybe they can’t keep new hires because the job involves more than sitting on the couch in their parents basement playing Fortnite. The truth is none of the kids today know how to work because they’ve been handed trophy’s for just showing up as long as they can remember.
You can gladly take my on call & OT especially when some id--t takes out a pole at 2am & knocks out a 432ct & takes out a whole phase
That’s what they want. They don’t want guys that want to make a career out of it then they would have to pay them more. This place wants the cheap labor and fast turnaround smh.

Not sure where you work. Come to Suffolk county plenty of o.t. here. They cant keep new hires. Most gone in a month.
