Broadcom want to keep the automation as they think it will be leader on the market.
Nevertheless, they will terminate some location as CA, UK, FR.
Vienna shouldn't be much impacted. Prague will grow.
Good luck folks

@W0yEKMo-2xoa never read so much nonsense in one single comment
Shouldn't have bought them. CA RA was and still is a much better product.
Remote entities of automic will be closed.
Anyway, I heard they have twice more testers than developers.
I know it may sound rude, but in term of knowledge it's not such a loss.
At least we won't suffer again their 1hour presentation on how much test they are doing...
No impact on Automation BU Engineering in Vienna
This is b---s---.
There is no One Automation R&D in most of the quoted areas, and no développer is aware of what you say.
Name 1 dev who is fired or stop b---s---ting...
Stop scaring people this is a nonsense.
I don't know for support.
In transition or terminated :
Vienna R&D expected 20%. Others locations will be trashed. 70% expected on US, Canada, Hanoi, France, Israel, Germany
Tech support 60%
Not sure how many people those % represent.
They will keep selling Vienna automation product only.
to @W0yEKMo-1xbc: what a b---s---! think before writing.
Couldn't even give the tech away. Pure tax based transaction.
The Automic automation technology is archaic. Aweful. Not sure why we even acquired it.
What do you mean by terminating location ? Automation Bu location is mixted in several europ countries ?
Do you mean they decided not to sell anymore Bu automation productswith local employees in Those countries ?
Let’s hope they eliminate merge products too!
