How can something that is opensource vanish? There is no IP at Red Hat. So if IBM makes all Red Hatters leave they end up with nothing. And when those Red Hatters leave nothing stops them from starting a new company and carrying on with the github repos.
This is the best that can occur for Redhat employees and also for IBM ers ...
I believe that the Red Hat CEO will become IBM’s CEO. So Red Hat’s employees have nothing to worry about.
