Thread regarding Juniper Networks Inc. layoffs

HR is helpless...

HR continues to erode and all the good HR talent has left Juniper for better opportunities...and now we are left with incompetence folks. Sure, there are some still of value, the "worker bees" but the leadership is a joke and only looking after themselves. I still have to interact with them on matters but I do limit it now, as I find it depressing.

We’re complaining about HR now? Seriously? About a third of HR got laid off last year. Most of it’s outsourced now. But, seriously, we’re complaining about HR? What is this, 1982? HR. Really?

Csco is in middle of this years large layoff. I quit on my own a while ago. There is no exit interview with hr or manager in csco anymore too. They mail you a web form for feedback you may fill or ignore. I ignored as i knew none would read

Been working in Bangalore juniper for 7+ years. Never seen HR really acting like a bridge between organisation and employees well fare. They seem to act like a rubber stamp for employees manager.

I know of cases where HR didn't even conduct exit interviewes for quitting candidates.

Hard to find HRs who really cares for employees as well as the organisation

RR has a bad track record recently with hires and should not be allowed to hire anyone...HR is an example. New CHRO learning on the job - YIKES!!!

Completely agree, not a high talented HR leadership team, but goes along with the leadership of other groups now. What do you expect with four different CHROs in 3 years, what a mess!!!
