Thread regarding Raymond James Financial Inc. layoffs

TF is a beast!!!

Never saw one that could run people out like that one. Luckily he is never here as it would be unbearable having to be around him more than now.

I wonder if anyone on here remembers when he was demoted a long while back? Do our leaders or HR believe people suddenly change? Usually character flaws never go away.. hidden at times but always revealed during stressful situations.

Hey HR, why is 80% of this thread about 1 or 2 people with obvious signs of poor leadership qualities. Why aren't YOU doing your job and reading what the facts tell you. Are you all ex-marines as well?? Or none of you have the sack to actually do what a real HR dept is supposed to be doing. Does anyone question why Bella, Vin, or Andy just continue to let good talent go and ignore the realities? They all came from UBS and are really here to just accept a large compensation from an org that was already heading down the same path it is today. These people are in it for the short term money. Not a single one of them are in this for success. It's for the dollar. RJ changed when TJ handed the reigns over. Ferg, don't let your title go to your head. There have been numerous people who've left that are both more technical, and better managers than you could ever be. You should hope RJ is your forever job because nobody else in the area would want you. A mark of a good leader is one that people want to work for and will stay at a job for. You're the exact opposite. I'd guesstimate that at 30 or more persons have left your IT Security dept in the past 5 years. Surprised your dog hasn't tried to leave and find a new owner. You are certainly a top notch POS. And I don't mean Point Of Sale. Loser.

Anyone remember Ferg’s Christmas parties?

But wait? What about the magnificent robotics processing technology? I thought that was going to solve COBs problems? From what I heard, COB’s issues are not due to the development team or their mgr. I was told they tried several times to ensure what they were developing met what the business wanted. I heard that SVP level and above instead listened to an architect (who doesn’t even live in the US and never comes to RJ) on how to build the product.

This is a company that is currently dealing with a program rollout that has caused a department to get several MONTHS behind in emails and forms. A department that has over 2 hour wait times for phone calls. COB is going to cause advisors to leave the firm in droves. I'm sure they're already dropping like flies, but that stat is conveniently left out when they're busy blowing sunshine up our asses.

No heads have rolled from that mess. Instead, managers were just shifted around so they can mess up other departments. What a joke.
