You all have to understand that Citrix pays insane salaries to pretty much everyone for a reason. Anyone attepting to leave Citrix for another employer in South Florida will have a very hart time getting same base salary. So they are forced to stay and deal with the nonsense. Every recruiter in the area knows whats going on.

This gets to the heart of it. Wonder why this thread has so many views but so few replies. It shines a light on the crazy compensation practices that we just take for granted. It's this acceptance of the status quo that lets it flourish.

Let's get these people with their snouts in the trough to justify their corporate existence. What is it they do for our company each day!!!

Yeah, just what is it that the chairman does for 8 hours a day to earn that sort of a living? Each of you plebs come in and do an honest days work be it creating, developing, testing, marketing, selling, supporting etc.

But what does the chairman and his cronies do? I guess watching that ticker tape of stock price movements deserves the massive remuneration given how brain dead it is doing it all day. You'll need a frontal lobotomy to do it each day.

How does Citrix justify this skewed cost structure you ask? The company is run for the benefit of the stock holders and the executives are rewarded for serving them. Employees and customers don’t matter to Citrix.
