I just heard from a senior vice president I have known for a very long time that remote employees who are still their are going to be finally all forced to return to building or be terminated. That seems a pretty drastic measure given how much knowledge has already left ADP. While I don't work from home as a standard, I do occasionally (maybe 2-3 times a month) and I wonder how they will treat that?

I have been remote for over ten years on the RPO side and havent heard a thing. I do know some have been let go though. The people I know of received severance. It’s clear they want everyone working out of a service center. I just wish we had some sort of timeline. Very nervous.....
Does anyone know the date the remote associates are being let go? I have friends in my old Dept. that are remote and they have not said anything about being let go.
Bad thing for all remote workers is the company can let you go without notice like several have been already. You work from home so you are a easy target and the company lets you go without any severance or notice.
Does anyone know when they will start cutting the remote workers ? Is there a specific date / timeline?
It sounds like ADP is copying IBM. IBM recently slashed thousands of their remote workers. Google the article. Someone posted the link somewhere in the ADP layoff blog.
All remote associates company wide are affected. It is part of ADP's new business model that employees don't work from home anymore because of "collaboration" issues.
Is this for all remote associates in each business unit?
- sorry- the last post was mine.... should say “ they are NOT aware of this yet. (I know that for sure). So I’m wondering if there is a hard date that will be put out or will it be staggered?? And when?
Original poster: did the svp give you a timeline on this? I have several colleagues in my department that work remotely they are aware of this yet- I know that they will not be able to relocate, so I worry for them but also wonder when this will happen and when the colleagues I work with in the office will have double the work load. I’m not sure how much we(the office staff) can handle- so ADP may be getting resignations along with saying goodbye to homeshored.
Yeah, that's not good. I have friends who are still working at ADP and they are remote. I doubt that any of them want to move.
I was told that ALL remote workers must make a move to a Core Center or leave. I gave my decision to leave .....I live in fla and was working remote for many years after moving from Roseland,Corp.
HR gave me until Dec 1st to decide....my senior VP told me ALL remote is coming to end....no exceptions!
Wow, sounds like they will really be lighting fires under those who work from home!
