Please. How about raising the bar so you’re not admitting students who are so poorly prepared they aren’t ready for a regular college curriculum?

Raising the bar with regard to which students are admitted would have worked 5 years ago. It's too late now. School's reputation is in the toilet, all the good faculty have left (one way or another), current student body is unemployable. At this point, DCEH is just going to s--- as much money out of the system as it can before it all dies.
How about just stop admitting students period! Let this ship sink already.
A long time ago someone say “not everyone is suited for higher education” and had their A** handed to them - but it’s true. Not everyone is suited for higher education, just as not everyone is suited to play the piano or drive a truck or be a ballerina.
I don’t think this comment was about denying anyone education, it’s about admitting students who are homeless, students who don’t have the very basic fundamentals required for an online eduction such as access to the internet or even a computer!

Your statement is self serving which is typical of the usual years' long worn out old lies.
But the cojones to float the notion that anything DCEH does can even remotely be called "education" shows a callous stone cold indifference to reality. Frankly, you just sound like an indifferent a--hole.
Who are you to say someone can’t pursue their education.
If you raise the bar no one will come. The target market has always been those NOT prepared. They wont ask questions or do research on the school.
Great suggestion. That is not how DCEH, Ai, SU or AU, or any for/psuedo nonprofit works. The key is to admit the student as quickly as possible, obtaining financial aid or payment first of course, have the student attend the class at least once, then the academic counselor and faculty are responsible for the student.
This is how EDMC/DCEH schools have operated for well over a decade.
