Go ask 5 or 10 of your non-technical friends to name 5 or 10 software companies.
If any of them name CA they're doing you a favor.
Whichever other ones they name... you should apply to work there.
I don't know what a meal coupon is definitely not a NA thing. For the few mainframe people that remain with Broadcom they will not get any perks they already got rid of the 12 week maternity and paternity leave that is standard in the software industry LOL and also no more daycare and free food. Hardware companies are nothing like the modern software culture. Tan will cut the company to bare f---ng minimum and all the remaining best people are going to say f--k it and leave for companies with better perks.
Worry about if you'll have a job or not before total nonsense like "meal coupons".
Broadcom pays its employees well and expects them to spend their own money how they see fit. I don't think you will get meal coupons.
Meal coupon is good benefit that Broadcom must keep. I ask my manager but his poisonous blood do not allow him honesty.
Same with transport, quarterly team dinner and clean water. Do Broadcom provide as good employer?
Hock Tan will continue to offer stravenky (meal coupons) to the Prague workforce, but HR will only be given enough for 50% of employees; provoking a mad rush to the People Department at the beginning of every month. If you don't get stravenky for two months in a row, you're gone. Survival of the fittest.

Every company provides meal coupons. They're called dollars/rupees/marks/dinar/pounds/euros and you can trade them for a variety of meals at a large number of locations.
Seriously?? You need 1800 worth food coupons during this time of turbulence. I am hoping you are the first in line...
