I was in a previous acquisition of broadcom; compensation has gone up, but there are fewer people.
Broadcom does not care how well or poorly you do your job, they care how profitable your function is. If you can personally claim you generate double your compensation in profits, you are safe. Everyone else should be concerned for a Day 1 exit or transition to some organization actually worse than CA
This has been covered in Yanmer many times. CA FY 19 bonuses will be paid at 7/12 of target. No stock is expected.
Those who fully transition to Broadcom should expect at least a flat salary and a combination of bonus+stock to be greater than or equal to their CA bonus+stock, with a higher percentage of stock.
Transition folks get two weeks extra pay for every month worked, none of those folks will be around to earn Broadcom bonus+stock.
Broadcom will look to transition most of the ITC work over time to Wipro for cost savings. That included IT and steady state app maintenence. No one can guess how that will play out for ITC staff, but I can’t imagine it would be great. Broadcom will squeeze every penny out of this buyout, especially as they start to realize how fragile the enterprise software business was
Why are you assuming you won't have a job? Are you not very good at what you do?
Are you for real? Are you worried about bonusses? We will no longer have salaries but this guy worries about this bonus. Ludicrous
we will get prorated amount with 100% attainment till November and then will be moved into Broadcom plan. Don't have details of Broadcom plan yet.
Which Salary ????
