They have been frustrating customers for years with long waiting periods, so I think Microsoft announcing this new way of placing releases on the market was a right move, and not a moment too soon. This encourages constant development and innovation with less room for significant errors. It remains to be seen what Microsoft exactly means when they say “regular releases”, and how quickly will customers have access to new products in reality.
