Thread regarding CA Technologies (CA Inc.) layoffs

BMC next?

So many rumors, lets get back to the interesting ones. Anyone have more info on this? To me it sounds like a very likely scenario, especially when thinking about mainframe.

If we're are going to float hypotheses, Intel has been itching to buy Broadcom for some time to counter Qualcomm on 5G. After Intel's failed attempt at security by buying Mcafee, Broadcom/CA should be looking mighty tasty to them, especially with the US Gov pushing hard on 5G.

considering bmc was just sold this month...i doubt it.

Look at the rohit shah article from december 2017 for a better idea of who's next. He predicted Broadcom buying CA then.
