I would love to be a fly on the wall when our legal team is discussing the recent federal judge ruling in Connecticut on medical weed. The reality of our future lawsuits are starting reveal themselves if we continue our stance.

The core values and integrity apply only to the peons.
Sounds like your saying that Devon would and will discriminate against a number of people and may have already. In order to get by with it they would just lie and say it was for some other reason such as violation of other company policy or poor performance. Now we are getting to the root of our downward spiral problem. It’s the ultimate betrayal of unethical management.
A person could try to establish they were terminated because they are over 40, female, g--, a minority, handicapped and so on...yet those cases lose on a daily basis under at will employment.
The very rare cases that win, are the ones where the employer was foolish to admit they terminated an employee for an illegal reason.
So, why would someone carrying a medical card be any different, or above those categories of persons I mentioned ?
PM. You have made multiple arguments using the federal contractor status and the schedule 1 Federal stance. Both of those just got shot out of the water with the recent Federal ruling. As far as IF any attorney would take the case, there are plenty. Look around you, OK cities and legislators are getting sued like crazy right now and they are all losing and having to change their stance. They can fire anyone for whatever reason but if that person is a card toting patient, all they need to establish is that it is possible they were let go for that reason. In today’s time, and this States history that should not be to hard. Especially knowing that we donated to try to prevent this from occurring.
I haven't changed my tune.
I provided what the courtroom scenario will be like IF, and that is a huge IF, any attorney were willing to take on a MM discrimination case against Devon.
Attorneys for the plaintiff will simply be unable to prove their case.
Im just curious when people stopped caring for other people. I really am happy for those that don’t have to deal with any depression or anxiety or any other mental illness. Those of us who do only want to be happy and feel what most consider to be normal. Parents that don’t have a mentally challenged child or a kid with autism never will understand. Those parents who do just want their kids to be accepted and to live a happy and productive life. If consuming a plant makes these people bad people, then so be it. I just hope you never have to ever know what it’s like to be in their shoes.
It’s funny Ole PM changes his tune after the “Federal” judge ruling.
I’m proud to be called a pothead. It’s better than being called depressed, anxious, stressed, etc. it’s funny no one had a name for me when I was taking Prozac and two different types of anti-depressants.
Your honor, the plaintiff must be high since he believes he was terminated because he has a medical card.
Your honor, the plaintiff was terminated because he violated at least one or more rules written in our code of conduct the employees sign every year. His performance wasn't so great either.
Case dismissed, your honor?
Thank you.
As a stockholder I care. If you own stock you should care as well. Lawsuits and discrimination settlement cases can impact our budget greatly
Who cares?
Bahaha. They have no excuses and have been told multiple times. They might want to factor in the 2019 budget the number of discrimination lawsuit settlements. Bahaha.
