This is true. This Bard plant is the first casualty of the BD buyout. Manufacturing will be moved to other plants and documentation ownership for those products will he moved to BPV, Tempe. This is the first Bard plant, but not the last. Couple other Bard sites on the list for closure. This is only round one of closures. More to come in subsequent rounds. They are going to do the same thing to Bard as they did to Carefusion.
I’m no longer there myself, but heard that all production is being shutdown at the SLC Bard facility.
