Carl Icahn will and is. And then he will sell it off piece by piece. That’s what he does. He is the actual reason we have the term corporate raider. He is Richard Gere from Pretty Woman but less handsome and more sleazy.

I was apart of the 12 Sups laid off last week. Upper management stated it was “not personal “ and pretty much said hit the road ! I should of expected something when the CEO resigned after putting so much money into our building to sell it out and he just up and leaves. He knew what was going to happen and he got out just in time. My Conduent fam stay woke and have a exit plan asap! And don’t get blind sided like I did. Goodbye you piece of sh-- company good luck over seas! ✌️

Everything is moving offshore - very little will be left in America. Time to leave - save yourself! Conduent won’t think twice to letting anyone go at any level.

I can see a buyout, or, it will have to sell off the call centers so they can pay the Texas lawsuit. The Q3 report stating the executives had placed more money aside to pay for the suit isn’t even CLOSE to the actual amount needed. The goal is India.... they will shut down the US and move to India. Conduent is a sinking ship.

How did you hear about this? This doesn't seem too credible. Conduent is still in the consolidation phase, and hasn't gotten its new 'vision' in place yet, how would they be attractive to buyers? Plus, even the split from Xerox was announced a full year before it actually ended up happening, so I would imagine we'd hear about this before the major layoffs hit.

That being said I could see Conduent deciding to do another round of major layoffs because they think employee morale crept up an inch since last month and they have a reputation of having almost constant layoffs to keep up with. But that's regardless of whether there's a buyout or not.

Who is going to buyout a 80k employee global firm? I could see Conduent spinning off some business units - but a total buy out of the whole company just sounds crazy.
