ITC support firing will start from 15th . After Team Outing on 13th . Manager will start layoff . Mostly 80% of support will be in layoff.
I know for a fact that Public Sector has been notified of BRCM plans on the Federal side and its going to be a Blood bath. There will be a very small percentage left there and it will consist of sales and architects and when I say small I mean like 14 people out of the 78 that are there now.

Is there any law addressing the same ( prior communication to employees before layoffs due to acquisition) in India ? If yes what is the time period ?
Yes, its 100% true. I did the same to my people. Insist your manager to know about yourself and read between the lines to better understand what is going to happen to you.
I am a manager at ITC, its true that the list has been prepared. VP’s and site leaders has taken inputs from managers as needed before finalizing the list. I have communicated indirectly to all the people who I know are impacted. I am hoping all the managers who read this will do the same before the doomsday.
SE's are getting trained internally to handle L1 load . The new issue open call goes to 40 language people recruited recently.The will collect all required information and suggest the available documents which support engineers are forced to write since many years . So no L1 and respective managers , directors not require . Entire support BU will be fired at one shot . SE handover starts from October 20th.
How many time do we have to repeat that every country has different laws regarding this and that managers already now and it is up to them if they let you know earlier or not?
