Take a deep breath everyone. I was let go from CP. I was hurt and had many emotions going on but when I think back, Colgate Palmolive did me a huge favor. I am managing projects that I could have never done at Colgate due to the crazy politics. I have a senior manager title with one promotion from being an AD. Do you think that would have happened at CP. Hell No!!!!! Many talented people were let go and other companies took them in and are moving forward with their ideas and concepts. It's Colgate's lost..... The innovation is where??????
If you are in the chopping block...take a deep breath.... Their is life after Colgate... I miss the good people but not the BS. I wish our CTO took the time to really understand the people she was letting go instead of listening to the insecure and incompetents of middle management. Oh well!
