You mean the Turkeys at Juniper are handing out Pink Slips so they won't get slaughtered themselves?
My manager - is a flat black Turkey. Worst experience in my career. Just plain incompetent. My second line manager, Harvard MBA, and a nice guy, but hardly capable of running our group. The third line CxO ... no comment. It's that bad. I am not surprised there are layoffs every quarter given the product saturation and building the "me too" products following cisco and now even arista. Absolutely poor job done by PLMs to figure out what we should be building. Marketing doesn't even know who we should be selling to, or what the products do. The few who knew have been chased out. Sales has started firing the good AMs and SEs because they are in higher pay grades. These are just bad signs... Juniper is done, IMHO.
Layoffs have happened every October for years now, companies use to hand out Turkeys to workers in celebration of the Thanksgiving Holiday, Juniper hands out pink slips!
A big number of Americas SE’s were fired. Tried to find some folks today only to discover they have been let go! This is ridiculous!

It's just the beginning. More layoffs are expected this month. Cunning of juniper HR to spread out the layoffs and do them on the "down low", to avoid reporting, and raise any alarms.
