Its obvious now that Ai Online is infiltrating and absorbing the Ai Ground campus piece by piece. Over the last several weeks Ai Online has taken control of various Ai ground operations. The plan will be to absorb the ground campuses resources and neutralize its current faculty and staff to finally become one Ai Pittsburgh "College". After years of operating as completely separate entities operationally this move is a major effort to finally appear compliant to Middle States to avoid any further scrutiny.

Anything from MSCHE?
I love to "Sip and Paint" it’s the only thing that makes working at Ai bearable. Once all AiP staff are replaced with AiO people, there’ll be a lot more sipping going on in Pittsburgh. Cheers!
This post explains a lot and makes some sense of what is going on at Ai:
I am an attorney who taught Business Law at an AI
EDMC has listed all AI locations in its bankruptcy filings. EDMC is required by the Federal Bankruptcy Judge to respond to motions and requests about its assets and liabilities.
The peculiar part is why AI locations were still listed as EDMC assets when they were -allegedly- sold to DCEH. Corporations can and do form shell companies for a variety of reasons to hide assets and liabilities but they usually aren’t fully functioning entities.
Of course, given what is now happening, maybe all AI campuses will soon not be open, rendering the question moot.

"power driven" should have been "power hungry"
AiO "power driven".. seriously? I worked at one of the original ground schools that is still open. The portfolios, I saw from graphic design, game art , web design and photography were horrible and could rarely compete for jobs. I saw web students without websites and game students with just pencil drawings of dragons and busty women. Every graduate I saw was not prepared for work and their Career Services department was a total joke. They cut and paste jobs to send them that were completely unrealistic. They encouraged Media and Game Art students to work at "Sip and Paint".. where they taught drunk people to paint. I bet that was worth the 80K education. I will be so happy when this sham is over and they are shut down completely
fle not true in all departments -- many students say Art Institute Pittsburgh Online Division
AiO teachers always tell students to list the school on their resume and portfolio as The Art Institute of Pittsburgh and leave the “online division” off of the title.
If you thought AiO was worthless before, wait until there is only one full time faculty in a department and the bulk of classes are taught by adjuncts.
Makes sense, the staff at AiO is more power driven than AiP.
Technically AiO is The Art Institute of Pittsburgh-Online Division, Middle States made it clear during their visit that they viewed the online option as simply a delivery method, nothing more. They were viewing AiP as the main entity. It would be no surprise if AiP faded away and AiO took over. It can be run from a small office suite.
Most believe the presentation by AiP and AiO employees was a scam, with administrators saying whatever it took to keep accreditation. MSCHE is a business like DCEH and will probably remove the show cause and warning to continue receiving payment from Ai.
With or without accreditation online delivery is the moneymaker.
VruyyFs but MS accredited Aip onground not Aip Online - online is accredited through Aip onground - so not sure how that makes them compliant.
And dceh is hiring Program Directors for online -- who will also be Faculty - how does that work? crazy
That would actually be a good thing as there is to much in fighting between online and on ground. We were always told that whether you work for online or on ground its still the same school.
