Here it is! SEC charges Walgreens to pay 35.5 million USD and fines the former CEO and CFO to pay 160k each. Let me get this straight, the former CEO and CFO are paid handsomely to do their job, and when they don't do it well, they just present better forecasts to the public and investors then they really are. Now the company has to pay 35m and these guys basically only have to pay what they made in a month or two, working at Walgreens. They caused irreparable damage to the company, not to mention bad publicity, and they get to walk away. If this wasn't so tragic I would be laughing.
