I heard a round of layoffs was slated for Oct 4 in Fort Lauderdale. Specifically the HR manager I overheard mentioned Finance, AP and Procurement. Anyone know the truth of the matter? I am worried for my job.

This has been rescheduled to December to pay for the Sapho acquisition. Some old employees have to go to make room for the new ones.
Layoffs, targeted cuts, etc. They have been cutting people and teams since January. they just have been doin it in small numbers here and there.

MOre fake news, no layoff happened. Im there 12 years and stillgoing strong.
