A source has reported that all Deans and Presidents will be terminated either by the mid-point of October or by the end, depending on school size, amount of programs taught, and salary/pay scales. This violates the ACICS protocol and directorship of on-ground schools, MM direction mandates, as well as basic DoE regulatory management procedures. FYI.

Schools did NOT transfer from ACICS to WASC. They WANTED to but wasc put the brakes on when they started to believe DCEH was trying to pull the wool over their eyes. I was at an ACICS school that is closing. I’m not there this quarter but it’s truly a skeleton crew. 1 director who is playing dean and all program chairs. No career services, no HR, obviously no admissions. the full timers are now either gone or taken down to adjunct with 2 classes.
AiP onground Dean got the boot yesterday
If you look at the list of American Culinary Federation accredited schools, you will see many Ai schools listed.
Go down the list of CIDA accredited interior design programs, most all of the Ai schools are CIDA accredited.
Including closing schools, Colorado, Houston just received it, looks like all California Ai’s have It, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. Schools that just did massive layoffs Miami, Atlanta, are listed.
Do these professionals accreditation’s care about regional accreditation, having full time faculty for the programs, campus morale, predatory recruiting and enrollment of students with a low gpa, careers after graduation, internship opportunities, school management, etc? Or are these accreditors real or just on paper and taking cash from anyone who will pay them?
As long as an Ai culinary and interior design program has ACF or CIDA, they still have some value in helping graduates land jobs. As soon as these accreditations are pulled, they are completely worthless.
Any faculty, full time or adjunct, who continues teaching at a school loosing professional accreditation (or regional like Western, Middle States, SACS, etc. as well) destroys any future higher ed career in their field except of course at another predatory school). Continuing to work for a school that provides no future potential for a graduate will do nothing for your CV. Students will have no potential for jobs as the degree will not be recognized (few if any employers accept non accredited degrees, no government agency recognizes these), students have no potential to attend a graduate program (no university recognizes a non accredited degree), students have no potential other than debt repayment and a future in menial jobs.

The only ACICS school in the Ai system is Las Vegas.
Will be interesting to see wins this cage match in ATL. My money is on the more qualified Provost. Too bad all the faculty were laid off and no longer have a front row seat. Ding ding!
The director and dean positions are apparently going to be merged into one...
Fraud does not have control, how do those that still work at DCEH not know this??? DCEH told faculty and staff that they were going to give back control to the schools, but instead they took all the control away. They have basically told Fraud and the Presidents they they are to sit in their offices and shut up. They have stated on calls that the campuses to include faculty and staff are incompetent and can’t do the job so they are doing it for them. All the departments on the campuses are controled by corporate. I’m pretty sure this is a SACS violation when the presidents have zero control and everything is managed off campus by corporate.
Those schools withdrew from acics because they switched agencies. Acics is a national accrediting agency and a bunch of campuses switched to regional accreditation. Wasc is one that I know the California campuses switched to.
is this for all schos or just AI?
The media needs to be alerted about this.
How does Fraud still have a job?
Has there ever been a bigger failure at everything he touches?
How does anyone who controls the money trust that con man?
Has there ever been a more dishonest, incompetent egomaniac ever?
And no, the president of the US still doesn’t touch this guy
I'm sure they figured out a way around that. My guess is they did not fire Academic Chairs for Culinary and have left one full time faculty member for Interior Design. Do I have it right?
What's left?
ACICS was voluntarily withdrawn a long time ago for some Ai schools

Until NASAD, CIDA & NCA, etc. pull certifications, students don’t need to know. Most students and administrators don’t understand the importance of professional accreditation or academic accreditation for that matter. No one but faculty care about these trivial things, and we all know how DCEH and Ai view faculty, they’re a dime a dozen and overpaid at that price.
Addendum: All Interior Design, Culinary, and other regulated programs are now no longer in compliance with CIDA, National Culinary Accreditation, etc.
