Besides the stress of now knowing if we are staying or not, who else is overwhelmed with the workload now since we are a lot of people dow?

When customers see the likely cuts they will focus 100% on replacement I think.
It's really kind of boring (I'm in sales) at the moment. Why? Because customers aren't interested in having meetings with us at the moment because there is so much uncertainty at the moment. they would be interested in talking to us but we don't have do share anything about the Broadcom takeover - due to that most of them refuse meetings and say "come back later when you have an update about your company strategy"... i think this can take some time. :-/
Yeah, I'm being given no new work to do. Wonder what that means?
My workload increased significantly after the May layoffs, but has been next to zero since mid-August.
I show up late and leave early.
New sales have dried up. Renewals also as customers wait to see what happens. Case volume in support for many products is down as customers are looking for replacement software. It's the beginning of the end.
I agree, most people myself included are doing the minimum necessary.
You're only one then. Why they should bother? Their managers (Sr. Directors, VP, SVP...) are gone (they’re most likely burning the budget somewhere) and most people will be laid off next month. So trying hard for what? For your business unit which will be shut down or sold? Your bonus (which will not happen)? So everyone do what is required but nothing more.
Workload? I bet if I didn’t show to office these last couple weeks nobody would notice. I think I’m on the list. I’m enjoying this just waiting for my check
My workload is reduced but it is not because of Broadcom, but it caused f Ok mr previous 800 cut.
