What is the list implementation? If it is a standard arraylist, only a bunch of individual contributors will be fired. However, if it is a linkedlist, managers (and their managers) get fired as well.

This list has been ready since September actually. I don't know any details however headcounts are clear now (I was personally (unofficially) told already and I am not manager). Just FYI I am in non-mainframe part of CA (located outside US) and reduction in my dept. is almost 100% (dept. has twenty people – One goes to Broadcom – Two will stay for transition (till April) – rest will be gone).
Is Voh Tan not in the list?
Jus ask your manager. List is ready.
I believe people will be communicated orally by 2nd week of October. Formal communication will happen by Nov 5th.
Notify will happen after close. All managers know now and list is complete. I have heard with high confidence 30% reduction in some groups.
