Has anyone else noticed that recruiters stopped sharing the job offers and are very inactive lately on social medias? I also noticed that you can really feel gloomy atmosphere now in our offices

I can confirm that. Most of the CA recruiters I'm connected with on LinkedIn haven been showing up at other companies like SFDC, etc. There is furthermore not much work to do for them in the next months. We have a complete hiring freeze except for a few positions and for engineering jobs in the Automic BU. Strange is, that in our region just a new BU team head on regional level has been hired and introduced. I think that must be a joke... Poor guy.
Various BUs and Regions have been on hold for 2 months, and slowly locking down since then. Pretty much all global hiring has been frozen for 2 weeks now, aside from a handful of areas, most notably Veracode.
CA is terminating the RPO agreement and the entire global recruitment team will be leaving by December. Broadcom has a VERY different approach to hiring, and in my opinion it will backfire, since they really just don't have real recruiters in many locations.
More layoffs coming, but long story short: Global recruitment team is getting axed completely.
Yes, since they don't understand the technology that CA has very well, and those recruiters know what they look for in a candidate
Why would Broadcom keep CA recruiters? You think they don't already have recruiting figured out?
Very true, one of my recruiters quickly changed from CA to other company, it seems massive layoffs are immenent
Has anyone else noticed that recruiters have already been laid off?
Overreacting? So do you also think they will retain all employees? They do not have an internal recruiting function. Doesn't sound like a company that will be adding more jobs.
I think you are all overreacting, Broadcom will just create more jobs and CA Technologies won't be dead, since they have other portfolio software as well and not just mainframe.
Why would anyone hire at a dead company? Some of you people working at CA are clueless.
They used to post all the time and share jobs on Linkedin, but all of a sudden they stopped, it's like they already know their fate
Some TA teams already now their future. And this future is not with Broadcom.
I haven't noticed this at all, recruiter interest has been steady.
Because recruiters themselves are busy looking for job.
Hiring has been frozen inside the Agile BU for a few weeks now. Attrition with no backfill.
