Weird I was talking to a temp recruiter friend hear in El Paso, he had 15 ADP employees pay him a visit on Friday, I guess poverty wages ain’t good enough for ADP, what’s next illegal immigrant wages.
Not all layoffs are because of being unwilling to relocate to a COE. The option is not offered to everyone for various reasons. Also typical COEs have a lower pay grade so it doesn't always make sense to move a high salary current employee (who may also be in the pension group) to a COE when you can attract an outside candidate for a lower cost and get incentives from the city for the candidate.
I thought they were being lay-off because the people didn’t wanted to relocate to a COE?
There have been layoffs for handfuls of people in OneADP locations. I know of Norfolk for sure but not sure of Tempe. For most if not all it was because the role was tied to some other function being laid off in a different location and they just happened to hold the title as well in a OneADP location. Overall we shouldn't be hearing of layoffs in OneADP locations though
The aim of ADP is to outsource most of the jobs overseas to places like Pune, India to save even more on labor costs. So no ADP job is safe anywhere in the US.
With ADP's lay off track record, layoffs are possible anywhere, anytime. This is definitely not scare mongering.
Tempe would not be a target. They pay low wages there, and its one of the COE's. But let the scare mongering continue.
For real...sounds like no one is safe PERIOD.
Just because folks are in the new mega centers, if ADP needs to make cuts to make more money, nobody is safe.
