Thread regarding Dream Center Education Holdings, LLC (DCEH) layoffs

Solution: Find another job and move on

I do not understand why you're upset about all these layoffs, when you knew this company never provided an adequate education and training for these students. Only put them in debt with massive student loans. Career services was a scam. How many students were really going to be successful to create a video game as they were sold this illusion, or how would a student survive with a minimum wage job at a restaurant, or a 100k degree in photography. How many of you knew some of those students they enrolled did not belong there? But just like faculty and any other employee, you will move on and find another career while these students are being left in the dark. I am glad the ship is sinking, maybe DCEH is really doing the right thing by shutting it down. Companies shut down all the time, and everybody moves on. EDMC caused too much damage for DCEH to save. Why are you shocked, if they lied and deceived students while you sat there and said nothing, really how many of you told the students what was going on as soon as you found out? I know I did and left, you were also part of the problem, you knew about the lawsuits, the scams, the videos from students complaining and you still chose to work there, so stop crying now that they are doing the same to you and your family.

Ai was never of interest to DCF, from an article March 6, 2017, “the least aligned institution to the Dream Center’s mission would be the Art Institutes. But he said the foundation would consider offering more technology training degrees through the Art Institutes to fill growing job market needs.”

“programs like art, design, culinary ..... are very expensive to teach and there is a much more narrow chance of making it big if students have dreams of being a fashion designer … they’re jobs that don’t pay well out of college.”

Whatever makes you happy. But you really need to reevaluate your life if you’re still stuck in the past, checking this website. Not trying to insult you bro but seriously , let it go.

Haha! You say that you left the company. Yet you still find the need to come back and check this website for DCEH news. What kind of a loser still can’t move on even after leaving. Go troll your new coworkers and spare us your opinion.

Bravo! Very well said. If you claim to be shocked by the outcome, then you are dumber than the students you enrolled! The writing has been on the wall for many years.
