Yeah because they were so organized with their communication channels your voice would actually be heard. Even if it was, they would only feed us more lies and false promises to silence us. It was top down leadership. My entire teams unified complaints never went beyond the half listening ears of both my direct report and her superiors. Trust me many complaints on management were made. I dont think anyone could understand what an absolute mess this was unless they were a part of it. They literally would have me notify candidates of on-site interviews then night before and then in the morning would have me either cancel their interviews or tell them to come anyways and "hope to get a slot". WTF not to mention grinding us to recruit from top tier software companies and universities to endure this process and then CONSISTENTLY offer these passive candidates 20-30K less than their current earnings with no bonus or benefit perks to balance it out. It was just wrong. Stop defending it.

Sounds more like a disgruntled employee who was let go. Good riddance.

To those defending the status quo - you ARE part of the problem. Your failure to call out leadership for their complete mismanagement of GED is a large contributor to the mess. To claim the "Nuremberg defense" is weak and spineless. Perhaps if you had raised your concerns vocally and earlier then GED could have had a much more successful outcome.

@VkJTpMp-uek i could not agree more. There is not need for snark and cynicism comments. They are not productive; it seems perhaps GE is better off without this negative attitude around.

What is the point of your comment? Are you really "laughing your a-- off?" Consider finding better use of your time and avoid rubbing salt in the wounds of your former colleagues who are still waiting out the storm.

It's a tough time to be at GE, but there's no reason to make spiteful comments - it's a waste of energy and does nothing other than potentially make others feel even more stressed.
