Incompetence

In all seriousness how the F**K is Khozema still employed? This man is responsible for bad decision after bad decision and gets promoted, absurd.

This dude is responsible for:

1) Materially misstating publicly reported financial statements

2) Knowingly weakening the internal audit function

3) Wasting billions of dollars on cloud infrastructure

4) Botching an ERP implementation to the point where the business has no actionable information

5) Wasting billions of dollars on unnecessary headcount

6) Wasting billions of dollars on Predix and APM while killing the automation product that customers actually buy

7) Never solidifying a firm strategy

The buyers first action needs to kick this Khozema and co to the streets.

If GE management is trying to find a buyer for Digital, as has been reported, they can hardly admit publicly that Prefix is trash or start firing all of the visionaries responsible for it, now can they?

The Industrial Internet was a promising and unique market opportunity gone wasted.

GE Digital came to San Ramon to supposedly hire the best talent from the Silicon Valley. Instead, they brought a c-apload of arrogant, untouchable, self promoting, know-it-all inexperienced, clueless lads from the "Leadership" program who would not own up to all their false starts. This, together with a few incompetent "managers" whose only goal was to build an empire with their friends, giving each other promotions every six months with nothing to show for.

Very sad...

I have been with GE for close to 20 years in IT. Predix has to be one of the worst products I have seen. I attended the Predix training class when it came out. That was the first and last time I ever tried Predix. I can not believe the amount GE invested in this dog. It is embarrassing.

KS is a typical "leader" at GE in that he slogged through Corporate Audit Staff and became a member of the Leadership fraternity who continue to self congratulate each other while remaining disconnected from the real world.

So much potential for GE Digital wasted.

GE Digital especially Predix Org exist just to promote people. If you are non GE company then be cautious of people coming from GED having Manager or higher role.

I don't think all actions you state are KS' mistakes. Others had a big role to play. The reason I believe he is still leading sales (though he has never been in sales his entire life!) Is that they want to keep the top management to a small team to restrict outflow of info during the sale/part divesture.
