The globalization team in ITC supports multiple products across CA. What are the chances that the entire team will be laid off.

If i'm not gone on day one i'm leaving
Broadcom will exit them... They do not fit into hoxk tans plan. Even if the unit makes profit if will be trimmed first then sold.
Did he say that in your townhall as well? Glad he is s---ing it up now. He had no clue how our teams worked or what we did. Needs a French baguette up his bottom and go back to his farm.
If your product survives then you may survive.... either way it’s a straight 50% cut on all resources in ESTG on day 1. Be it Globalization Tech Writer Education etc your lists are already drawn and Prod Mgmt needs to take a final call rationalising costs/resources and ROI.
Bottom line it will be foolish if you are in one of these teams and not looking out. BRCM has a history of managing people out, so if you have a tenure you may actually end with with nothing if you are managed out rather than RIFFed on day1.
Tools Team is a gonner. Globalization and Technical Publications globally will get the chop but might remain at ITC to support the remaining products.
Pascal G will meanwhile 's--- it up.'
Though cost cutting is a factor two reasons , flat org and excess in number.
so expect some.
Very low chances. Sure some cut may occur but that is to be expected, and they will mostly target other group. Really only the US have to worry about Layoff since ITC is consider low cost location.
