Not trying to add insult to injury, just found this to be an excellent read. The author got the essence of the problem and I think we can all learn a thing or two from reading this.

I don't think Qualcomm had anything to do with Intel . Apple already was choosing them for dual source for past few cycles. It admirable they kept at it and kept on reducing the gap. Frankly , I cheer a good competitor in market . Good to have options and completion in the job market for us comm engineers. Qualcomm needs innovation now instead of this bean counter cost cutting going on for past 2 years to survive . Don't know what was the board smoking to give a raise to SM . He should have been fired.
Very accurate article on the mismanagement of Q execs. On top of that they totally screwed up Apple and enabled Intel in Mobile. So what does the board do? Give Mollenkopf a pay increase! Disgraceful!
