Sterling National Bank does not value loyalty or past years of service at Astoria Bank. Astoria Bank valued all their employees and all the years of service at Astoria meant nothing to Sterling. Jack is all about everyone being colleagues, yet at the first chance he got, he had a massive lay off. Many of us at Astoria had more than 20 years of loyalty and dedication to Astoria, but did Jack take that into consideration, of course not. Astoria slogan was "Putting people first" and that included their employees. Once Sterling took over this slogan should have been " Loyalty, dedication, hard work- what's that?"
