Has DST been known to rehire employees who were laid off a few years ago? And if so, what kind of pay do they get?

why would anyone want to come back to a company that is being dismantled? I doubt they would want former employees when they can just hire younger, cheaper, less jaded employees if they even need them.
If they come back within 5 years, their tenure will pick up where the th left off, but as far as pay, they get the pay range for whatever job they applied for when they are back. They will not automatically get the same pay they left with. I once left a s Lead rep, came back as a Sr rep, so I took a pay cut coming back. But it was because the posting I applied for was for a se rep, they want going to automatically bring me back as a lead.
If you quit in good standing you can come back but if laid off you can not reapply within so many years.
DST is being dismantled. Look elsewhere. Would YOU run back into a burning building?
Only time i ever seen anyone hired back is if they quit.. they usually come back and use here as just a check so they can bounce to another job.
I was thinking the same. Gotta be pretty desperate and out there to even think about an option to go back. DST does not exist! If you even went back you have to give back any severance package you received when you were let go. Wake up, they don't want you. One by one each DST location is being disassembled so that DST and all the talented people that worked there and all the quality solutions that they offered (and their clients wanted) are long forgotten. They still have clueless management in place driving the business down, down! Now why, just why would you want to be a part of an ongoing train wreck?
Who on God’s green earth would ever go back there under any circumstances??
Dst is not hiring anyone back! STAY AWAY! BE AFRAID! BE VERY AFRAID! If anyone leaves it takes an act of god to backfill the role.
Hasn't happened in a very long time, but when it did you were restored to full salary/vacation if rehired within a year. If outside of a year back to scratch or you had to negotiate.
Meaning, is it close to their old pay or do they have to start from scratch?
