Stop agonizing whether your job is safe. This company has laid off hundreds if not thousands of people in less than a year, while continuing to hire their “friends “at six figure salaries. Don’t listen to your manager, they have no idea what’s really going on. Use a little common sense, and look at the facts. All of the news, media, public attention around this alleged “non-profit “ isn’t wrong. Take the warning that many others are providing and get out now. It’s not going to get better, it’s only going to get worse.

DCEH as of October 15th, 2017 when the sale went through had 12,500 full-time, part-time employees and adjuncts with 50,200 student enrolled. The number of students enrolled has dropped since then. Administrative staff accounted for 24.9% of the student body or a 4 to 1 ratio at the time of the sale. Thousands have been fired since.
Grand Canyon University has 90,500 students and 1,600 administrative staff. Administrative staff account for 1.7% of student body or a 56 to 1 ratio. You do the math. Many more cuts are coming.
